Description
The Johnson and Starley pilot burner is a naked flame within the unit that is used to ignite the gas that is coming into the main burner. When the appliance is switched on, the gas valve allows gas into the burner, which is then ignited by the pilot flame. The pilot flame works in conjunction with the primary circuit board and the rest of the pilot assembly to ensure that all of the injected gas is ignited safely and efficiently.
