Description
The Sime part is located within the condensate trap section. The condensate trap extracts the discharge which gathers in the primary heating and cooling system. This is caused by the changes in the temperature and pressure within those systems. A discharge pipe connected to the condensate trap then allows any held water passage out of the property. The water contained within the condensate trap can contain mild levels of acid due to carbon dioxide formed from boiler use dissolving in the water. Discharge pipes are very rarely made of anything other than plastic, as this water could damage a metal pipe over time.
