Description
The John Guest Underfloor Layflat Polybutylene Barrier Pipe is more flexible than regular polybutylene and PEX pipe, which speeds up and simplifies cable routing through joists and long pipe lines. When comparing the pipe's flexibility to standard copper pipe systems, fewer fittings are required, which results in labour and financial savings. The pipe "lays flat and stays flat" after being uncoiled, so there are no problems with the pipe holding onto its memory and attempting to coil back into place. The pipe consists of five layers, the middle of which is a coloured oxygen barrier that prevents air from entering the system and lessens the impact of corrosion on metal parts.
