- App Control: I can set specific temperatures for my home from the Hive App
- Scheduling: I can set my heating to come on at certain times of day from the device or app to suit my routine.
- Boost: I can turn my heating on or turn it off at a click of a button from the hive app or through google home / alexa integration
- Holiday Mode: I can simply turn my heating off for a fixed period while i am away so I save energy. It will then turn on automatically when i get back home.
- Ready by: My thermostat learns how long it takes to reach the target temperature so that it will already be the temperature i need at the beginning of my schedule blocks.
- Geolocation: When i have left my home and forgot to turn my heating off i receive a notification reminding me to turn it off [or the inverse for returning home]
- Heating History: I can see daily usage on how long my boiler has been running for and heating my home
- Opentherm: My thermostat reports the difference between the actual temperature and the temperature demand (temp delta) and the boiler only uses the amount of gas required to meet the heat demand. (15% efficiency improvement)
