Remeha heat exchangers can be split into two categories, primary and secondary. The primary is present in most boilers and is sometimes called the main heat exchanger or heat engine. The secondary heat exchanger, sometimes referred to as a plate heat exchanger or a hot water heat exchanger, is typically only seen on combi boilers.
