Description
The Altecnic water hammer arrester is intended for use with a single outlet, such as a faucet or washing machine, or a small group of services, such as a bathroom supplied by a manifold. Water hammer vibration is not only irritating, but it can eventually lead to fractured or damaged pipe fittings, particularly at joints. The Altecnic water hammer arrester requires no maintenance and may be mounted in any direction. The arrester should be placed near the tap or valve to reduce the impact of the shock on the system.
