If you find an identical, in-stock product at a lower total price, simply share the link or a screenshot with our team in-branch or through Customer Service.
Once we verify the information, we will adjust the price to give you the best value. This guarantee applies to new, like-for-like products, allowing you to shop with complete confidence in our pricing.

What is the Lowest Price Guarantee?
Our Lowest Price Guarantee means that if you find an eligible Electrical, Spares, Plastic Plumbing, Controls and TRVs, selected Core Bathroom ranges, or Own Brand consumable product; with an identical specification at a lower total price from an eligible UK retailer, we will adjust our price and pay you the difference, subject to our terms and conditions.
How does it work?
Before you buy – or within 30 days after purchase – tell us where you’ve seen the lower total price. If the product and retailer are eligible and the lower price can be verified, we will adjust our price and pay you the difference.
Which products are included?
The Lowest Price Guarantee applies to various products in our Electrical, Spares, Plastic Plumbing, Controls and TRVs categories, selected Core Bathroom ranges, or Own Brand consumables. The product must be identical or have an identical specification, new and in stock.
Which retailers do you match against?
We compare our prices against leading UK retailers (Screwfix, Wolseley and Toolstation) selling directly to customers. The retailer must be able to supply the product in the UK and meet our eligibility criteria set out in the Terms & Conditions
Do you match marketplace sellers, auction sites or private sellers?
No. We do not match prices from marketplace sellers, auction sites or private sellers unless we expressly say otherwise.
Does the lower price need to include delivery charges?
Yes, where delivery is a mandatory part of buying the product. We compare the total price you would have to pay to buy and receive the item.
Can I claim before I buy?
Yes. If you find a lower eligible price before buying, speak to a colleague in the branch or contact our customer service team at customerservice@cityplumbing.co.uk and we’ll review it.
Can I claim it after I buy it?
Yes. You can make a claim within 30 days after purchase. If your claim is approved, we’ll refund the difference using your original payment method, where reasonably possible.
What do I need to show when I make a claim?
Please show us the product details and evidence of the lower price, such as a live web link or screenshot, together with the date and time you saw it.
Does the item need to be in stock?
Yes. The product must be in stock with both us and the eligible retailer at the time we check the claim.

Do you match voucher codes, bundle offers or finance deals?
No. We do not usually include promotional offers, voucher codes, bundles, cashback, trade-in or finance offers.
Can I use the Lowest Price Guarantee with another promotion or colleague discount?
No, unless we say otherwise. The Lowest Price Guarantee cannot usually be combined with another offer, discount or price promise.
What happens if you cannot verify the lower price?
If we cannot reasonably verify the lower price, product details, stock position or retailer eligibility, we may not be able to approve the claim.
Does this affect my statutory rights?
No. This Lowest Price Guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.
Do you beat the lower price or match it?
We review competitor pricing regularly and aim to remain competitive across our electrical, spares and plastic plumbing, controls, TRVs and Core Bathroom ranges. Where a lower price is identified and verified for an eligible product, we will adjust our price and pay you the difference.

Terms & Conditions
1. About our Lowest Price Guarantee
We check the prices (as detailed in section 5) on eligible products as detailed in section 3 against eligible retailers (as detailed in section 4). If you find a relevant competitor product at a lower total price from an eligible UK retailer, we will adjust our price and pay you the difference, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Who can use this Lowest Price Guarantee
This Lowest Price Guarantee is available to trade/retail customers purchasing for their own use in the UK.
3. Eligible products and relevant competitor products
Eligible products will be marked with LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE, and include various products in our Electrical, Spares, Plastic Plumbing, Controls and TRVs categories, selected Core Bathroom ranges, or Own Brand consumables. The relevant competitor products for the price comparison must be identical or have an identical specification to the eligible products and be available for purchase from an eligible retailer at the time the claim is made subject to the exclusions listed in section 6 below.
4. Eligible retailers
Eligible retailers are: Screwfix, Wolseley and Toolstation.
5. The price
We will review the eligible retailers’ lower total price for the relevant competitor products and determine any price adjustment in line with these terms and conditions. Where relevant, the price of the relevant competitor product may include mandatory delivery charges, optional delivery upgrades, installation services, recycling or disposal services, extended warranties, insurance, finance costs and other optional add-ons are not included unless they are mandatory and unavoidable.
6. What is excluded
The lowest price guarantee does not apply to clearance, closing down or liquidation sales; refurbished, graded, second-hand or ex-display products; damaged products; products sold through auctions or bidding processes; pricing errors or obvious mistakes; loyalty redemptions, employee discounts, cashback offers, voucher codes or promotional offers including bundle offers; prices linked to financing, subscriptions or trade-in arrangements; products that are out of stock with the competitor; products not available for immediate order, dispatch or collection within the UK.
7. When to make a claim
Customers may make a claim before purchase or within 30 days after purchase. If a claim is made after purchase and approved, we will refund the difference using the original payment method.
8. Evidence required
To make a claim, the customer must provide reasonable evidence of the lower price, for example a live web link or screenshot, the date and time the lower price was seen, and the eligible retailer’s eligible product details showing the model and price.
9. How to make a claim
Claims can be made in the branch only with a colleague, or through customer Services customerservice@cityplumbing.co.uk
10. Verification
On receiving any claim we may verify the price, product eligibility, stock availability and retailer eligibility. We may refuse a claim where we are reasonably unable to verify the lower price or where the claim is not made in accordance with these Terms. Prices are checked weekly. Price changes may take a few days to come into effect and may not reflect competitor price changes made during the same or previous day. 11. Abuse / misuse
We may decline claims where we reasonably believe the Lowest Price Guarantee is being misused, including where documents or screenshots have been altered or where repeated claims are not made in good faith.
12. Changes to the Promise
We may amend or withdraw this Lowest Price Guarantee for future claims only. Any change or withdrawal will not affect claims validly submitted before the change takes effect.
13. Other offers
Unless we say otherwise, this Lowest Price Guarantee cannot be combined with another price promise, colleague discount, voucher or promotional offer.
14. Statutory rights
This Lowest Price Guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not affect, the customer’s statutory rights.
