Our Lowest Price Guarantee

Our Lowest Price Guarantee means that if you find an identical eligible Electrical, Spares or Plastic Plumbing product at a lower total price from an eligible UK retailer, we will review and assess this against our latest pricing data. Where appropriate, we will adjust our price through our standard pricing process, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Before you buy – or within 30 days after purchase – tell us where you’ve seen the lower total price. If the product and retailer are eligible and the lower price can be verified, we will review this and, where appropriate, adjust our price through our pricing process.

The Promise applies to selected products in our Electrical, Spares and Plastic Plumbing category. The product must be identical – including brand, model number and specification – and must be new and in stock.

We compare our prices against leading UK retailers selling directly to customers. The retailer must be able to supply the product in the UK and meet our eligibility criteria set out in the Terms & Conditions.

No. We do not match prices from marketplace sellers, auction sites or private sellers unless we expressly say otherwise.

Yes, where delivery is a mandatory part of buying the product. We compare the total price you would have to pay to buy and receive the item.

Yes. If you find a lower eligible price before buying, speak to a colleague in branch or contact us online and we’ll review it.

Yes. You can make a claim within 30 days after purchase. If your claim is approved, we’ll refund the difference using your original payment method, where reasonably possible.

Please send us the product details and evidence of the lower price, such as a live web link or screenshot, together with the date and time you saw it.

Yes. The product must be in stock with both us and the eligible retailer at the time we check the claim.

No. We do not usually match prices that depend on voucher codes, bundles, cashback, trade-in or finance offers where the price cannot be compared on a genuine like-for-like basis.

No, unless we say otherwise. The Promise cannot usually be combined with another offer, discount or price promise.

If we cannot reasonably verify the lower price, product details, stock position or retailer eligibility, we may not be able to approve the claim.

No. This Promise is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.

We review competitor pricing regularly and aim to remain competitive across our electrical, spares and plastic plumbing range. Where a lower price is identified and verified, we will assess and adjust our pricing in line with our pricing approach and internal review process.

If you find an identical eligible product at a lower total price from an eligible UK retailer, we will review this against our latest pricing data. Where appropriate, we will adjust our price through our daily pricing process or following internal review, subject to these Terms & Conditions.

This Promise is available to trade/retail customers purchasing for personal use in the UK.

To qualify, the product must be in our Electrical, Spares or Plastic Plumbing category; identical to the competitor product, including brand, model number, specification, colour and capacity (where relevant); new, unused and not ex-display, refurbished or graded; covered by the same or materially equivalent manufacturer warranty; and available for purchase from us at the time the claim is made.

An eligible retailer* must be a retailer selling directly to consumers in the UK; a genuine UK business (not a private seller); an authorised retailer or reseller of the product where authorisation is relevant; and able to supply the product to the customer in the UK. The following are not eligible retailers* unless we say otherwise: marketplace sellers or third party sellers on marketplace platforms; auction websites; private sellers; membership-only retailers, staff shops or closed user group offers; and retailers outside the UK.

We will review the competitor’s lower total price for the identical product and determine any price adjustment in line with our pricing approach. Where relevant, this may include mandatory delivery charges. Optional delivery upgrades, installation services, recycling or disposal services, extended warranties, insurance, finance costs and other optional add-ons are not included unless they are mandatory and unavoidable.

This Promise does not apply to clearance, closing down or liquidation sales; refurbished, graded, second-hand or ex-display products; damaged products; products sold through auctions or bidding processes; pricing errors or obvious mistakes; loyalty redemptions, employee discounts, cashback offers, voucher codes or bundle offers where the price cannot be fairly compared on a like-for-like basis; prices linked to financing, subscriptions or trade-in arrangements; products that are out of stock with the competitor; products not available for immediate order, dispatch or collection within the UK; or products sold by a seller that cannot be verified as eligible.

Customers may make a claim before purchase or within 30 days after purchase. If a claim is made after purchase and approved, we will refund the difference using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

To make a claim, the customer must provide reasonable evidence of the lower price, for example a live web link or screenshot, the date and time the lower price was seen, and the competitor’s product details showing the model and price.

Claims can be made in the branch only with a colleague, or through customer Services.

We may verify the competitor’s price, product identity and specification, stock availability, retailer eligibility, and whether the lower price is a genuine like-for-like comparison under these Terms. We may refuse a claim where we are reasonably unable to verify the lower price or where the claim does not meet these Terms. Prices are checked and updated daily and may not reflect competitor price changes made during the same day.

We may decline claims where we reasonably believe the Promise is being misused, including where documents or screenshots have been altered or where repeated claims are not made in good faith.

We may amend or withdraw this Promise for future claims only. Any change or withdrawal will not affect claims validly submitted before the change takes effect.

Unless we say otherwise, this Promise cannot be combined with another price promise, colleague discount, voucher or promotional offer.

This Promise is offered in addition to, and does not affect, the customer’s statutory rights.

*Eligible retailers means better value than the leading retailers, Screwfix, Wolseley and any other leading retailer which we may specify from time to time.
