City Plumbing is set to launch a new branch in Basildon on Monday, February 26th. The new location at Carnival Park on Carnival Close will offer a larger space, enabling City Plumbing to provide an expanded inventory for customers. The branch will also feature a Renewables Centre, an Underfloor Heating Store, and a Bathroom Showroom.
In line with City Plumbing's commitment to supporting installers with eco-friendly solutions, the Renewables Centre will be a key feature of the new branch. This centre will equip tradespeople with information, products, and unbiased advice on a variety of renewable products, including lower-temperature heating solutions. The launch event will commence at 9:30 a.m., allowing customers to explore a range of renewable options such as air source heat pumps, solar PV, waste water heat recovery systems, and EV chargers.
The branch's official opening at 10 a.m. will be conducted by plumber and social media influencer Allen Hart. Representatives from suppliers like Worcester Bosch, Honeywell, Recoup, Rothenberger, and Thermaskirt will also be present, offering a variety of giveaways. Attendees will be treated to food and drinks, and they will have the opportunity to engage with manufacturers about their latest product lines.
The underfloor heating products showcased at the event will be part of the Underfloor Heating Store housed within the new City Plumbing location. The Bathroom Showroom will display a wide array of bathroom products and suites for both trade professionals and end customers. The expansion of the branch has also led to the creation of six new jobs in the Basildon area.
Hemal Morjaria, Managing Director of Renewables and Electrical at City Plumbing, expressed enthusiasm for the flagship branch, highlighting its broader range and increased stock availability. He emphasised the company's commitment to a low-carbon future, demonstrated by the launch of its second Renewables Centre and the array of sustainable heating and plumbing products on display. The aim is to empower tradespeople to play a role in the transition to renewable technologies.
Gary Plummer, Branch Manager at City Plumbing Basildon, sees the official opening as a valuable opportunity for both existing and potential customers to explore City Plumbing's offerings. He highlighted the convenience of having a Renewables Centre, Underfloor Heating Store, and Bathroom Showroom all under one roof.
Plummer also underlined the benefits of the Bathroom Showroom as a sales tool for plumbers, assisting their end customers in selecting new bathroom ranges, supported by a comprehensive stock of products. Additionally, the new Renewables Centre offers tradespeople a chance to explore low-carbon options for present and future needs.
