Dave Evans, Managing Director, The Plumbing & Heating Businesses
Dave joined the Group as Finance Director for the Travis Perkins merchant company and Benchmarx in 2013. He was then appointed Finance Director for Group Operations, where his remit covered the Group’s Plumbing & Heating businesses as well as Toolstation, both in the UK and Europe.
Dave was promoted to Deputy CEO and CFO for the Plumbing & Heating Division in 2019, before assuming the role of Managing Director for this division in 2020.
Prior to joining Travis Perkins plc, Dave worked across a variety of finance roles in the retail sector in the UK, Ireland and Australia, more specifically with Coles Group and Alliance Boots.
Graeme Barnes, Finance Director
Graeme joined Travis Perkins in 2015 to run the Group's Investor Relations function, expanding this in subsequent years to include the role of Group Treasurer, as well as leading the Group's Tax, Communications and Cash & Banking functions.
An experienced finance professional, Graeme is a qualified accountant as well as being a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Prior to joining the TP Group, Graeme previously held roles in Investor Relations, Group Treasury and Manufacturing Operations at Rolls-Royce plc.
Darren Redwood, Managing Director of the North
Darren Redwood joined the Plumbing and Heating businesses in 2015 and is now the Operations Director responsible for all our City Plumbing/Plumbing Trade Supplies branches and showrooms across the UK and Ireland as well as the central customer service teams.
Starting in the business as PTS Operations Director, in 2018 he moved into the role of Managing Director of the North Region of City Plumbing branches responsible for the day-to-day direction, P&L and strategic objectives of our branch Network.
Darren joined the team with extensive previous experience in Operations and Supply Chain senior roles with organisations including Belron UK and O’Brien.
Darren’s main focus is to work with a really engaged and motivated team to continue partnering with customers, whilst delivering outstanding service and creating value for the business.
Steve Smith, Managing Director of Sales
Today Steve is Managing Director Of Sales and leads the sales teams for our branches and wholesale business. This includes the National and Regional Sales Teams, the Regional Trading Hubs and the Estimating Offices. Steve is also responsible for our online sales and marketing and external marketing in our branch and showroom network.
Steve has been in the Plumbing and Heating business for over 7 years starting his career as Director of The Bathroom Showroom and later progressing to Managing Director of The Bathroom Showroom. Steve then became MD of the West Region driving Branch performance.
Gary Venn, Commercial Director
Gary is the Commercial Director of the Plumbing and Heating Business. Gary started his Travis Perkins career nearly 5 years ago working as Trading Director of Wickes Building Materials, Garden and Decorative Categories
An accomplished commercial Category Director Gary also has extensive experience in leading teams spanning commercial, marketing, merchandising, sourcing, and product development
Mark Trevorrow, IT Director
Mark joined the Travis Perkins Group as IT Director of the Plumbing and Heating division in July 2017.
Mark is a highly experienced IT Director with extensive experience of delivering IT and process solutions into the FMCG, Food Retail and Retail industries. Mark is well versed in driving effective information systems and working as part of a management board to deliver commercial success.
Mark has held board level roles at a number of organisations including the Musgrave Group, one of Europe's largest food wholesalers.
Stuart Tosh, Supply Chain Director
Stuart has more than 20 years experience in supply chain management and fulfilment roles from a variety of blue chip organisations
Stuart’s ethos is to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders, to try out new ideas and measure results so improvements and efficiencies can be understood and exploited. Stuart’s vision is to make the supply chain a key differential for the brand and add value to the business and customers.
Dave Griggs, Managing Director of Spares
Dave is an experienced leader within our business having led a number of successful teams. Dave joined the Group in 1991 during his A-levels as a part-time customer assistant for Wickes.
Since then, Dave has taken on a variety of leadership and project management roles. Dave was promoted to Regional Director at Benchmarx in 2008 before moving to City Plumbing in 2011 where he was responsible for the South East region.
In January 2020, Dave moved to his current role as Managing Director of Spares, responsible for the Spares Strategy and proposition across the P&H division which includes the City Plumbing branch network. He’s also the Managing Director of Direct Heating Spares & National Shower Spares, both of whom operate in the wholesale and ecommerce arena under their own brands.
Parv Sangera, Managing Director of the Bathroom Showroom
Parv has been a part of the business since April 2014, initially as a Finance Manager and progressing to Head of Finance for BenchMarx Kitchens in 2016. Parv was given the opportunity to transform the branch network, including launching new store formats, reviewing the range, pricing, recruitment and overall setting of the five-year strategic budget.
Parv was appointed Central Operations Director for the Plumbing and Heating division in 2018. Parv excelled in this role, making significant improvements to the business including the execution of 22 range rollouts and installing a front-of-house retailing model for new branch openings, a first for P&H.
Today Parv is responsible for the growth and development of The Bathroom Showroom, whilst overseeing and ensuring product availability, sales and excellent customer service, and ensuring that the business goals are centred around putting customers at the heart of every transaction.
James Saunders, HR Director
James joined the business in May 2021 to run the HR function across all our brands and to help the separation from Travis Perkins.
James spent his early career in strategy and transformation, shaping his commercial acumen and has spent over 15 years developing and delivering people strategies for large and complex businesses. He spent 9 years with Vodafone as Head of HR and was Chief People Officer for Intu Properties before joining our business.
James has experience in multiple sectors including Financial Services, Telecoms, Technology, Property, Facilities Management and Retail.
James’s main focus is on building open, collaborative and commercial cultures.
Maxine Wiltshire-Frost, National Sale Director
Maxine joined the Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS) business 12 years ago as the New Build Sector Director and was then promoted to Sales Director within 12 months to sit on the PTS board.
She led a number of senior roles including Sales Director, Program Management Director, Renewables Director, responsible for building our Energy Efficiency business and now leads the national estimating and sales teams as Sales Director.
Prior to joining the business Maxine worked for Twyford bathrooms, and held a variety of senior sales roles.
Maxine's aim is to build an industry leading team focused on excellence in customer management.
