Overview
The McAlpine Tundish valve multifit reducer has a plain end to fit into other fittings or traps with a compression connection. Molded internal sleeves built into the reducer's connections are intended to centre and support the pipe, while multifit and friction washers are utilised to make a tight seal between the pipe and the fitting wall. It could be essential to reheat the end of a plastic pipe if it is too small or crooked so that it can be put over the internal sleeve.
