Overview
The Masterplug Residual Current Device (RCD) Safety Adaptor Plug is simply plugged into the mains before being used to connect an electrical device. The unit rapidly shuts the power if the tool you are using has a fault or a short, lowering the risk of electrocution. It continually monitors an electrical appliance's power supply and immediately shuts it off if an earth current fault is found (within 40 milliseconds). This reaction time is quick enough to stop a lethal electric shock.
