Overview
The Worcester Bosch automatic air vent is a pressure safety measure for the central heating unit. They function by releasing trapped air using a flotation device. As water flows through the heating and cooling system, a float within the automatic air vent opens or closes depending on the water level. The float will be raised to the top of the system until it is entirely made of water and the vent will be sealed off until the water level falls.
