Description
The Sime microswitch gives the appliance the ability to perform specific actions dependent on certain stimuli. The microswitch in a hydraulic diverter valve, for example, is turned on when a tap that is connected to the system is activated. The microswitch then sends a message to the printed circuit board, letting it know that more hot water is needed and that the procedure for heating water should be activated. There are many different models of microswitch dependent on the location and what mechanism they are attached to.
