The British General Electrical Nexus screwless flat-plate is a polished chrome 3-pole 10 A fan isolator switch, manufactured by British General Electrical. The has a thin plate that is under 5 mm thick from wall to face, a flat profile, rounded edges, and a fashionable polished chrome finish that complements a variety of interior decor styles. It is suitable for the majority of ventilation fans in bathrooms or kitchens. The switch looks more sleek and contemporary for longer when there is no visible plastic surrounding it. The socket itself may also be readily adapted into existing backboxes thanks to its clip-on, clip-off front plate design, which is safe and simple to use. A minimum of 16 mm depth is required. To further facilitate installation, the switch incorporates backed-out captive screws.
