Our solar panel installer course, offered by GTEC Training, equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, install, commission, and maintain both domestic and commercial solar PV systems.
Throughout the course, you will receive practical training that includes:
- Working with purpose-built solar PV rigs featuring various types of modules, inverters, and roof mounting kits.
- Hands-on experience with live equipment in a fully functional plant room.
Additionally, the course covers important theoretical concepts related to health and safety, industry regulations, and best practices. At the end of the 3-day course, you will complete a practical assignment that will be observed, as well as a multiple-choice, open-book theoretical assessment.
Upon successful completion, you will receive an LCL Awards Level 3 Certificate, which is recognized by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
