Overview
Worcester Bosch Condensate Sump Assembly Trap captures the discharge which begins to build in the primary heating/cooling system. This is caused by the changes in the temperature and pressure within those systems. A discharge pipe attached to the condensate trap then allows any held water passage out of the property. The water inside a condensate trap can be mildly acidic due to carbon dioxide formed from boiler use dissolving in the water. Discharge pipes are very rarely made of anything other than plastic as this water could damage a metal pipe over time.
