Overview
Towelrads manual angled valve and lockshield function work like a tap, and the top of the valve can be turned to allow more or less water into the radiator. The angled radiator valve joins the central heating pipework to the radiator at an angle and has a 90-degree bend in it so that the valve inlet can be met in either a horizontal or vertical position. The pipework comes from the wall, whereas the benefit of using corner valves when pipework is coming from the wall is that the radiator head will be pointing upwards and will not increase the overall depth of the radiator.
