Overview
The Potterton part is located near the pilot burner. The pilot burner works in conjunction with the printed circuit board and pilot assembly to ensure that the fuel is ignited efficiently. When the appliance is turned on, the gas valve allows the gas into the burner and the pilot burner. A naked flame within the appliance is used to ignite the gas which is flowing into the main burner.
