Description
John Guest Speedfit Layflat Polybutylene Barrier Pipe offers greater flexibility than standard polybutylene and PEX pipe, making long pipe runs and cabling through joists faster and easier. The flexibility of the pipe reduces the need for fittings significantly compared to traditional copper pipe systems, which in turn delivers labour and cost savings.
When removed from the coil, the pipe lays flat and stays flat meaning there are no issues with the pipe retaining its memory and trying to coil back into place. The pipe is made up of 5 layers, the centre of which is a coloured oxygen barrier to prevent the ingress of air into the system, reducing the effect of corrosion on metal components. Layflat is available in standard UK plumbing sizes that reduces wastage compared to non-UK sizes. Designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK.
