Overview
Incorporating push-fit, twist and lock fittings, the reducer from JG Speedfit is designed for use with copper and plastic pipes. These fittings are suitable for most water supply systems, mains fed or indirect cold water, vented and unvented hot water systems and vented or sealed central heating systems. Demountable without damage to the pipe or fitting, this reducer allows for a change in pipe size to meet hydraulic flow requirements of the system or adapt to existing piping of a different size. To mount, simply push the fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place. In order to demount the connection, push the collet towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe to release.
