Description
A safety interlock kit is a device that prevents both the main breaker (connected to the utility grid) and a generator breaker from being on simultaneously, ensuring safe power transfer during a power outage and preventing dangerous backfeeding of electricity.
- The Safety Interlock Option Kit allows the boiler burner to be inhibited using a simple 230V AC or 24 V AC/DC signal. This can be provided by various pieces of equipment in simplified plant installations, e.g. Gas Pressure Switch, Pressurisation Unit Failure Contacts, Air Handling Unit Failure Contacts or Water Flow Failure Contacts (Pump failure).
