Dave Evans, Chief Executive Officer, Highbourne Group

Dave Evans is Chief Executive Officer of the Highbourne Group. Dave works closely with our owners, H.I.G and our non Executive board to lead all of our businesses in the group.
Dave has a wealth of experience as a senior retail business leader. Prior to joining the business, Dave worked across a variety of finance roles in the retail sector in the UK, Ireland and Australia, more specifically with Coles Group in Australia and Alliance Boots and Travis Perkins in the UK.
Dave recognises the importance of Diversity and Inclusion and is leading the business to be an even better place to work by building an open and collaborative workplace and culture.

Robbie Bell, Chief Financial Officer

Robbie joined us in 2023, coming from Holland & Barrett where he was also CFO. Throughout his career, Robbie has held similar roles at Welcome Break and a number of large retailers. During his time at Screwfix he saw trade counters grow from 50 to 600, overseeing sales growth of over £1bn. 
As Chief Financial Officer for the Highbourne Group, Robbie is responsible for driving growth and supporting Highbourne's strategic ambitions.
Robbie uses his experience and skillset to transform strategic insights into actionable strategy, ensuring the Highbourne Group continues to deliver for our teams, our partners, and our customers alike.

 Darren Redwood, Operations Director

Darren Redwood joined the business in 2015 and is now the Operations Director responsible for all our City Plumbing/Plumbing Trade Supplies branches and showrooms across the UK and Ireland as well as the central customer service teams.
Starting as PTS Operations Director, in 2018 he moved into the role of Managing Director of the North Region of City Plumbing branches responsible for the day-to-day direction, P&L and strategic objectives of our branch network.
Darren joined the team with extensive previous experience in Operations and Supply Chain senior roles with organisations including Belron UK and O’Brien.
Darren’s main focus is to work with a really engaged and motivated team to continue partnering with customers, whilst delivering outstanding service and creating value for the business.

Steve Smith, Managing Director - The Bathroom Showroom

Today Steve is the Managing Director of The Bathroom Showroom and leads our journey to be the market leader in trade and homeowner bathroom sales. Previously he took on the role of Managing Director Of Sales and led the sales teams for our branches and wholesale business. This included the National and Regional Sales Teams, the Regional Trading Hubs and the Estimating Offices.
Steve has been in the business since 2012 starting his career as Director of The Bathroom Showroom where he headed up the team to roll out the Bathroom Showroom proposition across the City Plumbing branch network and later progressed to become MD of the West Region, driving Branch performance across 112 branches. He then became Managing Director of Energy Efficiency, Electrical, and Underfloor heating.
Steve believes in building cross functional teams where every member of the team plays an equally important role and believes this is now required more than ever as the industry adapts to the change in how homes and bathrooms integrate net-zero solutions.

Mark Trevorrow, Chief Information & Digital Officer

Mark joined the business as IT Director of the Plumbing and Heating division in July 2017.
Mark is a highly experienced IT director with extensive experience of delivering IT and process solutions into the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food retail and retail industries. Mark is experienced in driving effective information systems and working as part of a management board to deliver commercial success.
Mark has held board level roles at a number of organisations including the Musgrave Group, one of Europe's largest food wholesalers.

Stuart Tosh, Supply Chain Director

Stuart has more than 20 years experience in supply chain management and fulfilment roles from a variety of blue chip organisations.
Stuart’s ethos is to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders, to try out new ideas and measure results so improvements and efficiencies can be understood and exploited. Stuart’s vision is to make the supply chain a key differential for the brand and add value to the business and customers.

Dave Griggs, Managing Director of Spares

Dave is an experienced leader within our business having led a number of successful teams. Dave has taken on a variety of leadership and project management roles and was promoted to Regional Director at Benchmarx in 2008 before moving to City Plumbing in 2011 where he was responsible for the South East region.
In January 2020, Dave moved to his current role as Managing Director of Spares, responsible for the Spares strategy and proposition which includes the City Plumbing branch network. He’s also the Managing Director of Direct Heating Spares & National Shower Spares, both of whom operate in the wholesale and ecommerce arena under their own brands.

James Saunders, Chief People Officer

James joined the business in May 2021 to run the HR function across all our brands and to help the separation from Travis Perkins.
James spent his early career in strategy and transformation and has spent over 15 years developing and delivering people strategies for large and complex businesses. He spent 9 years with Vodafone as Head of HR and was Chief People Officer for Intu Properties before joining our business.
James has experience in multiple sectors including Financial Services, Telecoms, Technology, Property, Facilities Management and Retail.
James’s main focus is on building open, collaborative and commercial cultures.

Maxine Wiltshire-Frost, National Sales Director

Maxine joined the Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS) business 12 years ago as the New Build Sector Director and was then promoted to Sales Director within 12 months to sit on the PTS board.
Maxine held a number of senior roles including Sales Director, Program Management Director and Renewables Director, responsible for building our Energy Efficiency business and now leads the national estimating and sales teams as Sales Director.
Prior to joining the business, Maxine worked for Twyford bathrooms, and held a variety of senior sales roles.
Maxine's aim is to build an industry leading team focused on excellence in customer management.

John Vaughan, Chief Customer Officer

John has been in the Plumbing and Heating Industry since he was 17, starting on the Trade Counters at HRPC, which became part of Wolseley in 1993. He then moved to PTS as the Southern Regional Managing Director, and when Travis Perkins bought the BSS Group, he moved over to our business as the Group Sales Director.
John became CEO of Adey in May 2015, before successfully driving the sale of the business to Polypipe in 2021. He then rejoined our business, as Senior Advisor to the Board before taking the Chief Customer Officer role in November 2021. 
As Chief Customer Officer, John is responsible for the National Sales Teams, Marketing and Commercial departments, plus the Divisional Teams of Spares, DHS, NSS, the Underfloor Heating business, and Electrical and Energy Efficiency.  
John's experience in the Industry is crucial to help deliver Highbourne Group’s key strategic initiatives for our customers and suppliers. 
John’s main areas of focus is to give the team the right guidance and tools to deliver a customer experience that is second to none. He’s also working with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and quality of service and delivery for the business.

Adam Foy, Chief Commercial Officer

Adam joined us in September 2022 as our Managing Director for EE, Electrical and Underfloor Heating and has since become our Chief Commercial Officer. 
Having previously worked GA & Ideal Boilers, Adam has the skills and industry knowledge to spearhead our commercial strategy and customer-first approach.

Hemal Morjaria, Managing Director - Energy Efficiency & Electrical

Hemal has been with us since April 2022, when he initially started as our Business Development Director. Since becoming our Managing Director for Energy Efficiency & Electrical in April 2023, Hemal is uniquely positioned to lead the charge towards our net-zero future.
Hemal has a wealth of experience in the industry, having over 10 years experience working for industry titans such as Amazon and Travis Perkins.
