Overview
The Valor micro switch gives the appliance the ability to perform certain actions dependent on specific stimuli. The micro switch in the fire suppression system, for example, is switched on when a problem is detected within the system. The micro switch then sends a notification message to the PCB, letting it know to switch off the fan that delivers fresh air to the fire and keep the exhaust fan working to ensure all smoke and gases are vented correctly. There are different types of microswitch dependent on their location and what mechanism they are attached to.
