This Sunvic SD2701 3 port mid-position spring return actuator works through the motor being energised when the actuator holds the valve open. As the actuator rotates, a spring inside winds up and the motor stalls out. When power is removed, energy in the coiled spring is released which closes the valve and stops the actuator.
