Google Nest Protect is a multifunctional smart alarm that can detect both smoke and carbon monoxide in your home for up to 10 years. It provides ultimate peace-of-mind by sending alerts straight to your phone whenever smoke or carbon monoxide is detected meaning you'll know if there's a problem no matter where you are. It's compact, modern design looks sleek in any home, and the device comes with a built-in Split-Spectrum Sensor. Being a smart alarm, the Google Nest Protect knows the difference between steam and an emergency situation meaning you'll never have to wave tea towel to hush a false alarm again. It speaks up to immediately alert you if there is a problem you'll immediately know where the problem is, and the sensor will even give you a friendly heads-up before it sounds the alarm so you can hush it from your phone, if required. With Nest Protect, you get extra peace of mind as it tests itself over 400 times a day. A gentle green glow let you know everything's working fine when you turn off the lights. In the dark, it can act as your personal night-light by lighting itself up when you walk past. Because this version is battery-powered, it can be positioned anywhere in the home and only takes a few minutes to install yourself.
