John Guest Speedfit's bent tap connector Push-Fit fitting is for the connection of plastic or copper pipes to fixtures or appliances with a MBSP connection point (horizontal pipe runs). A brass sealing washer and swivel nut are included with the tap connector. The Push-Fit fitting should only be fully pushed onto the pipe, and then the thread should be turned by hand. Pushing the collet toward the Push-Fit fitting's body and pulling the pipe to release will allow you to unmount the connection. By omitting hot work and tools, the John Guest Speedfit bent tap connector makes using it in limited locations easier and may be installed up to 40 percent faster than conventional methods.
