Overview
The Glow-worm pilot burner is a naked flame within the unit that is needed to ignite the gas that is coming into the main burner. When the appliance is turned on and the gas valve allows gas into the burner, which is then ignited by the pilot flame. The pilot flame works in conjunction with the printed circuit board and the rest of the pilot assembly to ensure that all of the injected gas is ignited safely and efficiently.
