Energy related Products Explained

What is ERP - Energy Related Products

The ERP (Energy Related Products) Directive, came in to force in September 2015 to help the EU achieve its targets to lower emissions by 20% and increase it's share of renewable energies by 20% by 2020.

What does that mean to me?

Boilers and heating systems are now labelled in the same way that white goods like fridges and freezers are, with the aim of improving efficiency and ensuring visibility of the efficiency of the product to the customer and you have some responsibilities regarding these.

It also means that you might see some changes to the products on offer in the market.
