Overview

The CalGlow Magnetic and Electrolytic Scale Inhibitor is a product designed to prevent the build up of limescale, and is suitable for cold water line installation. The CalGlow should be installed on the cold water feed of individual hot water appliances, to prevent hard scale build-up in heat exchangers, and pipework in household water systems. The unique combination of a magnetic, and electrolytic technologies allows for enhanced performance. The magnetic bar induces a single polarity into the water; this causes magnesium, and calcium particles to take on the same polarity. These particles then repel each other, causing the prevention of formation of hard limescale. On the other hand, the electrolytic bar uses zinc plates which create the same reaction as the magnetic bar. These zinc plates gradually release minute particles into the water, which prevents corrosion by abolishing all the air in the system. The CalGlow helps improve the efficiency of the system, providing you with a cleaner, highly tuned boiler, lowering fuel bills and improving maintenance costs.
