Overview
The Alpha domestic hot water heat exchanger can contain either a primary heat exchanger or a secondary heat exchanger, two different types of heat exchangers. The primary, which is found in almost all boilers, raises the temperature of the water in the system using heat from the burner. The secondary heat exchanger, which is exclusively found on combination boilers, enables the transfer of heat between two closed systems.
